This splendid box is a creation of Yuriy Zhygalov from the village of Mstera.
In the center of it there is a beautiful bouquet composed of wild and cultivated flowers. Orange-tangerine, red, subdued green, and blue make up the tones of the leaves and flowers. Each petal and leaf has also been shaded with lively gold paint to enhance glow and texture. The light brown background tones with the bouquet's palette.
The bouquet is framed with the beautiful floral patterns painted in tempera and gold paints. The similar ornamentation can be found on the box's sides.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The box isn't hinged and rests on a flat bottom. The artist wrote Mstera, the title "Tender Evening", and his name on the bottom of the box.
