This box was painted by Zakharova Tatiana shows a scene from a village life when two gossip ladies coming from a village to a well and whispering to each other.
The scene is painted in the traditional Mstera style. The lid is decorated with intricate floral and leafy patterns painted with tempera paints. The box's sides are decorated with a nice gold leafy pattern.
The box is made out of paper-mache. Black lacquer covers the exterior and red lacquer covers the interior of the box. The lid is hinged from the top of the scene, and the box rests on four small round legs.The box has a sign of Mstera Factory on the interior of the base. The work is signed with the artist's name, Mstera and the title.
