This very detailed brooch was painted by a talented Palekh artist Irina Peskova.
Irina was born in 1971. During 1987-1992 she has studied in the Palekh Art School. Her favorite scenes to depict are folklore and genre scenes.
The brooch show us a young lady at the window and a lad playing a harmonica. Two birds are flying all over the scene.
Painting is very much detailed and the gold details are amazing!
The brooch is made of paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the brooch. The work is signed with the name of the artist, and the village of Palekh and a year of 2016.
