Ivan Lebedev from the village of Palekh created this colorful scene featuring the bell ringer and his steed. He is an important person and people look at him with admiration.
The palette is very bright and perfectly depicts the action. The brushwork gives the scene life and a visual zest that is very captivating. The architecture is originally drawn. It consists of several storeys, various arches, balconies and bridges. Each of nine human figures is also painted with a lot of details. Hair-thin gold and aluminum highlighting decorates the various elements of the scene. The background sky is painted in bright gold paints adding the box additional elegance.
