This charming Christmas decoration is manually carved out of wood. It shows Santa Claus skiing in the forest and carrying the big sack filled with presents. To paint this work the artist has used a rich palette of various tones and shades. Aluminum paint is used to paint white fur on the hat and coat. Aluminum is also used to paint patterns on Santa's costume and his sack. Besides Santa's figure the artist also has painted here a girl sitting on the sledge, a rabbit and a small village.
