This colorful Easter egg is made on the same principle as a nesting doll. It is made out of wood and includes two dolls (three on the whole). All three eggs feature angels painted over the beautiful blue background. The angel depicted on the biggest doll holds the sleeping baby in her hands. The angel depicted on the middle egg holds the burning candle, while the angel painted on the smallest egg puts his finger on his lips as if he wants to say: "Be quiet! The baby is sleeping!" To paint the angels the artist uses a wide spectrum of colors. Gold paints are used to decorate their clothes, while aluminum paints are used to detail their wings. The scenes are framed with a gold line. The backside of the egg is covered with pink paints and decorated with the gorgeous floral ornamentation highlighted with gold paints. Each egg can be rested on the table or any other vertical surface as they have special platforms. The platform of the biggest egg is covered with gold paint. The work isn't signed by the artist.
