The box has two painted sides-the one is showing positive heroes from "The Lord of the Rings", an epic high fantasy novel written by philologist J.R.R. Tolkien and the other side shows negative.
The scene is painted in subdued oil paints. The scenes are framed with parallel gold lines. Box shape of the box is remind us a purse. On the top of the box we can see a painted ring.
The box is constructed from paper-mache. Black lacquer is used to paint the exterior of the work while red lacquer completes the interior of the box. The lid is hinged from the bottom of the composition. The box rests flat. The work is signed by the artist in brown oils at the bottom of the composition.
