This elegant box has been painted by the talented Fedoskino artist, Margarita Belova. It shows a girl standing in the garden.The work is called "Young Girl", She is standing under the apple tree, blossom flowers are from the left and from the right from her.

The painting in oval is framed with golden scan patterns (made of tiny shapes hand punched from gold metal sheets, and then glued to the box manually). The edges of the lid are also decorated with the same scan pattern.
The lid's exterior is covered with blue lacquer mixed with silver dust. The interior is traditionally covered with red lacquer.The sides of the box are painted with the mixture of the colors, that imitates a dark blue marble.
