This charming nestling-doll was painted by artist Lukash from the town of Sergiev Posad. It includes 5 dolls and each of them depicts children with animals. Little girls dressed in peasant costumes merrily look at the viewer. Their heads are covered with bright red, blue, pink, and green kerchiefs. They are dressed in multicolored sarafans and white embroidered shirts.
The artist does a good job by painting the angelic faces of the little girls. They are animated and show such emotions as joy and playfulness. These nestling dolls don't look like primitive goods owing to the fact that their faces are painted with portrait quality. It seems that real girls are looking at us and laughing merrily.
