Well-known Artist Svetlana Danshina was born in the village of Fedoskino in 1965. She comes from a family of artists. Her mother was a teacher of miniature painting at the Fedoskino Art School.
From childhood Svetlana dreamt to become an artist. She entered the Fedoskino Art School in 1983, and graduated from it in 1987 with a first-class honors degree.
Her teachers were Yevmenenko and Frolov.
Svetlana’s favorite themes to depict are fairy tales and portraits. Quite frequently she creates lacquer miniatures based on personal photographs forwarded to her from collectors. Her works can be found in private collections all over the world.
The artist regularly participates in important exhibitions. One of her works won a gold medal in the exhibition at the Russian Exhibition Center in 2000.
In her free time, Svetlana likes to dance. She confesses that if she didn’t manage to became an artist, she would choose the profession of a professional dancer.
Svetlana married to Fedoskino Artist Danshin Konstantine and a family resides in Fedoskino.
