Artist Valeriy Kovaleov was born in 1963 in the village of Semenchivo (near Fedoskino, Moscow Region), where he resides at present.
In 1984 the artist finished Fedoskino Art School.
His teacher was Shchagin Alexey Vasilievich, whose works are still had a great influence on Kolaveov’s style of painting.
Kovaleov is a Member of the Union of Russian Artists since 1998.
Valeriy used to work at Fedoskino Factory since 1984, but now he is a freelance.
Kovaleov likes to paint winter scenes, Winter Landscapes and Russian Fairy-Tales.
That’s why Valeriy mostly uses white and bright colors in his works.
Valeriy very likes to go out in the forest for a walk.
It does not matter what kind of season is outdoor, he is always enjoyed every meeting with a nature.
The artist thinks that it’s very important to express inspiration of his soul to people and make them happier!
