Kuznetsova Marina Petrovna was born in 1962 in the village of Palekh, Ivanovo Region,where she resides at present.
In 1985 the artist finished the Palekh Art School. Her teachers were V.V. Bolshakov, A.S. Gordeev, A.S. Peskov and Berunov.
The Diploma work of Marina Kuznetsova was a casket entitled "Moroz the Red Nose".
More than once Kuznetsova was awarded for her successful work in the field of lacquer miniature painting. Her works are exhibited in the Ivanovo Art Museum.
Marina works at the Union of Palekh artists.
The artist paints her compositions in the style of Palekh lacquered miniature using tempera paints. The themes of her works are Russian folk fairy-tales and tales by A.S. Pushkin.
Marina thinks that depicting of a landscape is the most important element in her works.
The artist prefers to use in painting cold tones especially blue colors.
Marina supposes her works are notable for vividness of painting, interesting themes and coloring.
Painting such famous artists as A.V. Kotukhin and T.I. Zubkov had a great influence on the artist's creative work.
In her free time Marina likes to knit and communicate with her children.
